Avoiding fixed notions of the self...
I embrace fleeting moments, taking time to listen to the breeze, be enamored with the colors of light, appreciate the beauty of someone I dislike.
I find Spending time in nature to be cathartic, necessary for spiritual growth and a divinine source for creative expression. Writing poetry inspired by nature, emotional pain and mechanical ways of being is one of my passions.
Buddhist thought and meditation are integral parts of my lifestyle.
I have a desire to do more travelling but often contemplate my motivation to travel. I do find visiting other parts of the world to be eye opening and humbling.
I am in touch with my own pain and therefore others' pain to sometimes dibilitating amounts. I attribute this to having a questioning mind. I am aware of the thoughts that cage my mind as well as others' suffering. With the awareness of pain also comes the awareness of love and beauty.
I make big life decisions that are driven by passion and inspiration. I could not work a full time job that I felt did not connect with a greater purpose. I try to align my actions with kind intentions and make efforts everyday to be grateful for what I have.
Just like most humans, at times I have a strong desire for intimacy, intellectual stimulation, pleasure, pain, understanding and novelty. Avoiding claiming originality, being with others who are open to expressing our shared condition is very important.
